RitualBound
RitualBound is a simple NSFW mouse only pixel art game.
The game is male-centered and themed around summoning anthropomorphic demons. You click runes moving across the screen to progressively strip and arouse your summoned demon, until they are ...satisfied.
At present, the game includes three summonable demons, each with different mechanics. Additional content is being worked on. See Roadmap and Devlogs below.
RitualBound is available in the any desktop browser, and as a standard Windows executable. The game does not require any installation or configuration. Simply download the game and run the included .exe file.
Gameplay Hints
If you find the game too challenging, click here to reveal a few gameplay hints.
- The good and bad runes are always the same for each demon/phase, and don't change between playthroughs or per player.
- To memorize the runes, you can use their names: Diamond, Triangle, Circle, Clover.
- One good rune from each phase is still good in the next phase!
- Sometimes you should hold off clicking an energy rune, until you see an arousal rune.
- The game is easier in a window. If you are on desktop or a popped out browser window, trying shrinking it. It's easier to see the rune lanes and you don't have to move the mouse as far to click.

Somehow 100%'d all 3 demons, this was fun!
Got to say tho, it is mostly memorization. I just wrote down what runes did what for each demon/round. I still found it fun but I think others might find it annoying.
Also, it seems Trerzothar's 3rd phase has a bit of weird hit detection. I found myself constantly saying "I should have hit that!" during that part which got tiring fast. Could just be a skill issue tho.
I like the premise, can't wait to see the 4th demon!
I managed to 100% all three available demons, but have to say that it was more difficult to master them than a boss of a FromSoftware game.
oh wow, thanks for putting in the effort!
did you play on casual mode or no?
even in "casual" mode this game feels really clunky, and there being no indication of which runes are good or bad when they change is. not fun. at its core i feel like this game suffers the most from how random it is, it doesn't feel like i am rewarded for having good reflexes, it feels like 80% of it is just gambling on what's good and what's bad. and this is just me reviewing how it feels in casual mode- i imagine it's significantly worse on the intended difficulty.
all in all this game has potential but it relies too much on randomness. all the symbols being so fancy and complex while all being the same color makes memorization practically impossible except for the singular rune that noticeably stands out (triangle). anything else moves by too quickly for it to ever properly register unless i lock my eyes to one side of the screen, in which case i miss other important runes which is a death sentence when you have to hit important flower and wither runes or else risk losing.
hey, sorry to hear your struggling!
i'd like to make the game enjoyable for a lot of people, there's a few people who suggested colored runes at this point. I can put some thought into making an option for that, or perhaps simpler/clearer rune shapes as well.
in the mean time, I just added a gameplay hint section on this page, just above the roadmap. theres some stuff in there that makes the game much easier if you know it.
Dude this game is soo good, keep u the good work
By any chance if you add sex or a gallery as a reward, would the demons have kinks, for example, that they enjoy cum inflation, musk, etc?
hey, thanks! funny you mention, i was working on bios for each of them, and that it did include kink info. glad to know there is some interest!
Thats quite the coincidence, and its nice to see the game getting update constantly it was really fun to play and the demons they all look so good specially zazginak i love that bird.
Keep up the good work but dont get burn out
thanks for the kind words, and zaz is my favorite too π€
I really like this, good job! Excited to see the rest!!
Would you ever be interested in adding additional dialogue? Either for retrying after failures, or for retrying to get higher scores
Thanks, glad you like it! And yeah, I hadn't thought of adding more dialogue on retries, but that sounds like a good idea.
it doesn't reaches higher then 91% no matter how hard i try even on normal mode. Can someone explain how to reach 100% on second demon?
Hey, I went ahead and replaytested Trerzothar several times on both Normal and Casual. For normal, you can reach 100% but you can't miss a helpful rune (or Wither) and never click a harmful one.
For Casual mode, it was hard to get past 91%, so I tweaked the difficulty and uploaded a new version (2024-09-20). Same rules apply, just make sure you dont miss any good runes and dont click any bad ones. You may also need to stagger clicking certain runes to make sure your energy is high enough before you finish.
Can there be sex scenes as rewards?
I would like to include either that or an unlockable gallery in the future. Right now though I would have to outsource the art at a personal cost, so its not feasible.
Please, make usable and harmful runes differentiate in very slight colour diffference, not too big, but just enough to see if you squint. Because it is hard to just guess random rune.
I think the game help before the ritual is misleading some people, I will try and make it more clear.
Here is a hint for gameplay:
The helpful and harmful runes don't ever change, they are hard-coded per demon/per phase.
So hopefully your first few playthroughs you learn and memorize the correct runes for the given demon/phase, then after that you can work on finishing the ritual more quickly to try and get 100%.
Hope that clarifies!
