Devlog: Endings about done/epilogue started


So this past week I ended up working on the various endings to the final encounter. There's a few different ones, but each one has multiple lines of dialogue, wider dialogue boxes (like the intro as well, for more personality to come through), and some have a little bit of theatrics too. One of them is meant to serve as the quasi ending to the game. Most of that is done now, there's only maybe 2 more days of work on all that.

I also started on the epilogue, which right now is just text that plays after fulling winning, but it should cap up this chapter in the RitualBound story.

At this point, I have enough budget left for about 2 full on illustrations or maybe a few more simple ones, so I am trying to plan on which of those to do.

The ritual itself is stable, and fully playable (sans any custom mechanics), but I have found myself working on all the accessory pages and features more these past few weeks. At this point I will probably get the ritual finished last, which is probably good. I can give it my full focus without have to worry about the endings/side pages looming in the back of my mind. 

So this week, I'm trying to fully finish off the endings and epilogue, maybe get some illustrations done if scheduling permits. Once that is all done, there really wont be much left other than the actual ritual, and then playtesting/polish.
