Devlog: Onto the final piece... Score Calculation!


The final ritual has now had some external play testing and adjustments, and I think its ready to go now. The feedback is that it's last boss difficult, but still winnable with effort and a few repeated attempts for sure.

I updated the help too, since some of it was reported not clear enough on the new mechanics.

So now I am trying to finish up the scoring, specifically figuring out what time/life combos will equal 100%. I am pretty close on that too, actually, mostly just need to verify that it seems right after some more trial plays. I expect it to take maybe 3 or 4 days from tomorrow.

After its all said and done, one final round of complete play testing to find any last bugs or errors that may pop up, and then I can finally release it. And with that, RitualBound itself will be marked from 'In Development' to 'Released' here on Itch.io.

After releasing the game, I plan on writing up a small behind the scenes document, and talking about what the next plans are for me, and for the RitualBound series in general.
