Devlog: Great Progress on graphics


I ended up making really great progress on the graphics this week. The demon is about 99% done, the clothes are roughed out and about 60% done, and the mouth/eyes are done as well.

The aseprite files were getting progressively more complex with each demon, so this time, I've kept it extremely simple layer wise. Bazromath's file probably has 40 layers on it, which was way too much and way too complicated to maintain and work with. This one has maybe 12 by comparison. Another live and learn moment.

I've also decided on the mechanics, so I can start the process of creating the new ritual this coming week. The characters personality is set as well, and with that, I can even start on the dialogue and accessory screens.
