Devlog: Demon 4 graphics nearly done, game difficulty
With the release of Demon 3, there's been a number of comments about game difficulty. To that end, I added a 'Gameplay Hints' section just above the roadmap. There's some not obvious tips and tricks that make the game much easier once you know.
Also, there have been more requests for colored runes, so I am currently thinking about how I might add this in code wise. It would be available as an option that could be turned on or off, just like casual mode. I've thought of other ways to change the game's difficulty, but colored runes will be a good start that won't take too long to implement. I want to have it ready with the release of Demon 4 at the latest, since each release usually brings a bump of new players for a few days.
As for Demon 4, the demon's graphics are entirely done, and I've even grabbed a few sounds too. I'll be bringing them into the game this week. That leaves the Ritual 4 rune graphics as all that's left, minus any tweaking that occurs once it all starts coming together in game.
After that, I can start putting the Ritual together.
