Devlog: Character programming about done, on to sounds and more biography

So I finished up about all the programming for the final character. I'm sure there's one or two small things I forgot, but nothing that will take more than a few minutes.

I had to make some small adjustments to the graphics here and there, like shifting a few pixels around and maybe reordering some layers. I've had to do that for every character so far, so no surprises there.

I'm thinking that making the art viewer for this character will be pretty straightforward too. For the past four demons, I've made the character, then the ritual, then went back and programmed in some of the special commands to make the art viewer work.

For this character, I just went ahead and did all that programming now. This character also has the ability to show hide some of the specific layers of their individual parts, instead of only the whole piece. So there's a lot of potential combos in the viewer.

Now its time to add sounds. I was pretty sure I wouldn't find any sounds that'll work for this one out of the box, so I had to look up how to do certain special effects to existing sounds.

I'll be trying that out in the next few days.

I have also been filling out the biography. Its always a challenge, because its not as easy at just running down the list and writing the first thing I think of. I usually write and rewrite parts of it until it all *feels* right for the character.

In future games, my goal is to go deeper into their lore and personalities, so I consider this like tip of the iceberg kind of stuff.
