Devlog: Live and learn, Back to work
I ended up taking off until this past Thursday, but I'm starting up work again. I've got the graphics split up like I need to, so the next step is to program them in, which usually goes very quick, like a few hours tops. After that, its on to playtesting and tweaking the ritual. Right now the difficulty is 'literally impossible' which I don't think many people will enjoy. After that, final polish of things like dialogue, and updating the help screen.
Onto the live and learn part, I was continuing the trend of making each ritual more involved than the one prior, and at some point it gets too involved and complicated to create/program for my liking. I think this one is right at that mark. But this is my first game, so I'm learning all kinds of things, including where to maybe draw the line. Maybe the next ritual will just be a game of tic-tac-toe. /s
Anyway, back to work. Looking forward to finally getting this ritual out the door in a few weeks.
